Step 1 :

First you have to draw wrong patterns for at least five times. (If your phone is not working with a pattern, you already have drawn wrong pattern for over five times. )

Step 2 :

After drawing a wrong pattern for over 5 times, you would see an option Forgot Pattern at the end of the page.

Step 3 :

Kindly tap on to that option.

Step 4 :

You would be asked to enter a current Google account which is currently associated with your Android smartphone. You need to add the proper Username and Password to this device when asked after tapping on to Forgot Password option.

Step 5 :

After entering the Username and Password, you would be allowed to Reset your Phone’s pattern lock once again. You need to confirm this pattern by drawing it for twice.

Now, to testing this out, just press down the Lock button of your device twice. You would be asked to draw a Pattern, you have to draw the recent Pattern which is just reseted on your Android. How to Bypass Android PIN or Password on Android Smartphone?

The other ways to lock down an Android is by entering a proper PIN or we can call it a Password. There’s a four digit PIN or Password to unlock an Android if this method is enabled on your device. Whenever you are trying to unlock your device, you would be asked to enter a proper PIN or Password in order to unlock it. If you forgot the current PIN or Password, you need to reset it manually by following the below given steps. You need to follow each of the following given steps in order to reset the PIN or Password which you forgot.

In order to reset a PIN or Password of your device, you have to access Google Device Manager once. I’m sure you are aware about this, if not, kindly follow the below steps.

Step 1 :

On a Computer or Laptop or any other device, go to the official Google Device Manager page. Kindly follow the below mentioned link to access this page.

Go tohttp://www.google.com/android/devicemanager

Step 2 :

Here, you would be asked to enter a proper Username and Password which is being used on your current Android device. If your Email Id is connected with more than one devices, you need to select the Device which is locked down.

Step 3 :

You would see an option Lock. Just select this Lock option.

Step 4 :

You will be asked to enter a temporary Password here. Enter a Temporary password and then hit the Lock option once again.

Step 5 :

Now, go to your device and enter the Password which you just entered on the Device Manager.

Step 6 :

Now, go to the Settings menu on your device. Open apps menu and select Settings’ icon.

Step 7 :

Scroll down to Personal option and then select Security option.

Step 8 :

Select Screen Lock option from the same menu.

Step 9 :

Here you need to enter the Temporary password once again. You need to follow the instructions given here. After completing all the instructions, you would be allowed to reset your phone’s Password. Enter a proper Password once again and confirm it by entering the same.

You’re done! You’ve just reset your PIN or Password on your Android. In order to test this out, lock down your Android. Enter a new PIN and boom! Your phone is completely unlocked now!

The above process may delete all the phone contacts, stored data and other important data from your device. Better for you to take a good backup of your device before trying out anything. If you are using an Android, it is always recommended to take a backup of your phone’s data regularly so that you can restore all the important data back on the device anytime.

Apart from this, there’s one more way with which you can easily remove the current PIN or Pattern or Password from an Android. Yes, by resetting it. You can Factory reset your Android in order to remove all the Passwords and other security methods from your device. In order to do so, you need to follow some steps wisely. Make sure you have a backup of your device as by resetting your phone, all the data stored in your device will be vanished out. It won’t be recovered itself, better you take a backup of your data and then follow these steps.

How to Factory Reset an Android Smartphone?

Step 1 :

First you need to turn your Android off. In order to do so, you need to Press and Hold the Power button for 3 to 5 seconds. A menu will be appeared on your display from which you need to select the Power off option.

Step 2 :

Now, you have to Press and Hold the Power button and Volume Down button together. Make sure to press both the buttons simultaneously for upto 10 seconds.

Step 3 :

Make sure to release all the buttons once your Android turned on!

Step 4 :

A new menu will be presented to you which is a Reboot menu of your device. To navigate the options, use Volume Down and Volume up buttons.

Step 5 :

Scroll down the options by using Volume down button until you see Factory Reset option on the screen.

Step 6 :

Tap the Factory Data Reset option from the same menu.

Step 7 :

Now, tap Reset Phone option.

Step 8 :

You would see a Warning on your display saying the data will be deleted from your device once and for all. Are you ready to proceed further.

Step 9 :

Select a proper option from the menu and your phone will be Reset.

You’re done with the process! By now, you can get all your data back by entering the same username and password of your Gmail account. Enter it carefully and sign into your Google account.

In order to get all the data back from your device, you need to re-insert your SD card back to your device. By doing so, you can copy and place all the data which are being stored on your device. This is how you can save your data and get them restored instantly!
